When my workshop/barn burned down I heard a lot of horror stories about dealing with insurance companies. I'll be glad to counter those stories with my own experience. Dealing with this type of loss is difficult but everyone at Allstate was easy to work with, sympathetic, and understanding. When I had questions, they had answers. When I didn't agree with an assumption, they worked with me. They even reached out to me to make sure I was doing OK and understood the details of a conversation we had earlier. I would recommend Allstate to anyone and I am very pleased with how they handled my claim.

I've been with Allstate since 1984, and I cannot say enough great things about Roger Vroegindewey and his awesome staff. I've had a house flood, a totalled car, and some major car accidents when my kids were new drivers - Roger and his staff not only made everything better, but they did so with such caring and compasion and skill that I was left with a smile on my face every time.

Unlike most insurance places that milk you for premiums, Roger always finds ways to save you money, or get you additional coverage without increasing your costs - even lowering you costs in most cases. Definitely a shining star in the insurance world and extremely recommended.

We have have had our insurance with Allstate for 18 years. We have dealt with Roger since he bought the business. We have been very satisfied with all of the staff.

I went in after receiving mail from their office with very specific information about my home value and how they could save me roughly half on my annual home insurance. When we arrived, we reviewed all of my policies, auto, motorcycle and home. The quote they gave me for my home insurance was nearly double the cost they sent me in the mail. They shrugged it off as corporate marketing, as if it was not their responsibility, yet his name is on the mail sent to me. I wasted around 3 hours there and I do not consider it trivial. The other policies came up roughly the same as my current State Farm policies and I did not make the switch. What a waste of an afternoon. The staff was courteous, but I could not get past marketing tactics. My advice would be go to an independent agent where they can shop different insurance companies for you.
