  They were out of a specific tequila I drink. The bartender went out of his way to find something that worked for me. And I absolutely loved it!

  Nice little.bar. waitress was friendly. She let me know that there were $5 Manhattans, special for the night. I was in luck because it is one of my favorite drinks.

  A hidden gem in the heart of downtown. They have a very nice selection of cocktails and a good number of craft beer. The service is fast the servers are very nice and friendly. Since it is not a huge bar, it can get a bit too loud and crowded later in the night.

  Cool atmosphere, usually packed. Good service. A little dimly lit for my preference but you get used to it! Even when it was packed on a friday night we got good service.

  This is one of the few bars in Ann Arbor, which are open until 2 am. It is often crowded but the atmosphere is very nice.

  Out of state for the weekend, was walking around the city and couldn't really find a chill bar around 8-9pm. Walked by this spot and it pulled me in. With the artistic art on the wall and the atmosphere. Bartender is very polite and nice, would definitely come back when I'll be visiting again.

  This review does not reflect the service or quality of Ally Bar. The bartenders and servers are usually attentive and quick, and the drinks are well made and consistent quality. I just do not like the venue :it's dark, cramped, and loud. If you have more than four people in your group it's not ideal. It's not for me personally, ; but not a bad bar!

  Tuesday happy hour is nice.

  This place makes some really nice (if a bit pricy) cocktails. It's got a dark alley feel with an old style bar which live up to its name.
  It has some good offers too depending on the day of the week. I think Mondays have 5$ cocktails.

  One of my favorite 'hole in wall' or 'dives' in Ann Arbor. Realistically it's better than both of those terms suggest. Cool, cozy atmosphere, affordable drinks, good crowd.
