Impressive museum in a small town. It has various exhibits: Native Americans, settlers, early industries, gemstones, automobiles, horses-drawn hearses and other mixed items. If you find this review helpful please click on the thumb up button below.

Located in Lima, the Allen Co. Museum is a great place to spend some time. Friendly staff and it seems the exhibits are always being added. The exhibits are well laid out as well. While you are there, take time to visit the MacDonell house as well as the Children's Garden, both located on the grounds.

I had so much fun here. I snuck away just to have alone time with my other half. We made a date of it.

Cool place to go. My favorite part was the florescent minerals.

A great place to take the kids. Doesn't cost anything to get in, but donations are accepted.

Wonderful place to take your family. My mother took me when I was a child and now I'm taking my niece's and my husband (who had never been there before). We loved it. Also check out the McDonald's house right beside the museum. There's the children's garden and library there too. Lima has so many hidden treasures. Take a look. It's great!

I liked it much better before it was updated. I felt it was very chopped up. There was no flow to the museum like there used to be. I had a hard time finding the displays I wanted to see.

This is a great half-day fieldtrip. The museum is filled with exhibits related to local history. The staff will more than happily guide you around and teach you so much more than what the placards have to tell.
