  Great place for spices and quick gifts. Closes down December 31st till first wkend in may. But open to online ordering all year. Always great choices in kitchen/house products.

  Kitchen gadgets of every kind, unique spice blend creations, marinades, soup mixes. From this tiny location products are sold all over the Midwest. Like their sign says, if you have a kitchen get in here.

  Do you have a kitchen? Get in here! Wonderful spices and spice blends. All sorts of kitchen stuff from cast iron skillets to shot glasses. Chef Geno's family runs the most friendly shop you could ever visit!

  We were there this week and will be going back as well as ordering online. The spices are AMAZING and all for a steal. The staff is wonderful and helpful and were great with my kids. My kids favorite part was the garden and all the hidden wonders! You certainly have customers for life!

  If you love to cook, you must stop here. While the foodies flock to spice merchants, your grandma gets all her spices from Alden mill. And for good reason. Great prices, great variety of spices, blends, dips,mixes, jams, you name it. Great for gifts for friends who love to cook. Their hickory crisp blend is a must have pantry item in my opinion, especially to impart smokey, meaty flavors into vegetarian/vegan dishes. But of course it also likes a porkchop. I've brought it to several countries now and it's always the perfect antidote to the occasional bout of homesickness.

  Such a cute shop! Definitely worth a stop in for their spice blends. The Hickory blend is my favorite, but I've tried many and they've all been great. I've seen Alden Mill House spices sold at different little shops in northern Michigan, but the lowest prices seem to be at this original store in Alden. Great little garden outside. Make sure you pick up a tomato slicing knife too! I use it daily.
