  Alco failed to provide payment to the windows provider Mr. Glass although they were paid in full at the beginning of the contract, this action caused Mr. Glass to placed a Construction Lien over my property months after the contract was completed, when confronted Alco for an explanation, they lied saying it was a Mr. Glass error, that they have made a mistake on several clients and they were working to solve the issue, I called legal department at Mr. Glass and asked for an explanation, they confirmed Alco failed to pay them, after a couple days Alco came thru and provided payment to Mr. Glass, a week after, Mr. Glass released the construction lien on my property. This should have never happened, Alco received FULL payment even before ordering the windows from Mr. Glass, they failed payment to the windows provider (MR. Glass) causing me a lot of trouble. Please be very careful and check all your paperwork accordingly, this is a very delicate situation for the customer. BE AWARE.

  Working with Alco Windows to replace all 27 Windows on my property was all an experience, please see below for the good and the bad on this contract!
  
  The GOOD:
  - Crew/Installers: We were blessed with the best crew you can ask for your windows installations (Michael Jackson, Henry and other guy I can remember his name), the crew went ahead and beyond to install all 27 Windows in a little more than a week with extremely care and professionalism, they take all steps necessary to not disturb your day to day during install and keep all areas clean. The finish of all windows installed is exceptional, they even repaired minor damages here and there, super happy with the installers, kudos to all of them! Ask for them if you get your windows schedule for install, you will thank me later.
  - Quality: Windows contracted were from Mr. Glass, we consider the product quality to be above average of other brands and with very good finish, they arrived well packed and with all accessories and stickers to identify windows specifications. The overall installed product I considered to be high quality and worth what we pay for.
  
  The BAD:
  - Double Check your Contract: We had an issue were at first, when discussing options with our sales person (Patricia) we decided we wanted all windows with the exception of a couple small ones to be 3/16 glass thickness which was a few thousands more expensive but since we live in the corner of a busy avenue we wanted to mitigate the sound and wanted that extra glass to help with that. To our surprise after we received delivery of the windows we noticed the great majority of them were 1/8 glass instead, so we called them and they said it was a Mr. Glass error and the options were either to return and wait to be fixed or accept a credit. The credit they offered was a third of the extra dollars I paid for the 3/16 glass, then we negotiated a better credit but still was not the total I paid extra for it, so I lost some money there. We agreed to the credit instead of having to wait longer and also having all windows dismantled and repaired to have the glass we wanted. After all, we are happy that the 1/8 glass still mitigated sound as we wanted so it wasn’t all bad at all.
  - Alco needs to be a little more proactive and not sit and wait for their customers to call them and ask how is everything going a simple email with a small status (windows ordered, windows in process, etc) will go far and keep us with a clear head on such a huge investment (less to worry about).
  - Cleaning all the new windows before leaving the jobsite for good would have been super-nice!
  
  Overall: We are very pleased with what we paid for the final product, it definitely adds value to our home, and we think Alco did a great job, especially their installers (Michael Jackson’s crew), considering all the research we did prior to sign them up, we think we made the right choice. Recommended! Just be on top of everything and check your paperwork during the entire process.

  I recently had a whole house impact window and door installation by ALCO and couldn't have been more pleased with the entire process from the initial sales consultation, all the way through to installation and final inspection. The project manager Orlando and installer Daniel are top notch professionals in their industry. If you are looking for a full service solution provider look no further than ALCO.

  Working with Alco Windows and Doors has been an amazing experience. We upgraded our windows and doors to hurricane-proof and are beyond satisfied with the workmanship and dedicated staff. Luis Alvarez, the owner, Danay (our initial contact) and Melissa have been on spot; responsive and dedicated to a full customer support. No detail is too small to ignore and resolved in a more than timely manner. I gave it a well-earned and deserved five-stars!

  I recently had the pleasure of working with Alco Windows and Doors in Doral, Florida and I must say, they exceeded all of my expectations. From start to finish, the team at Alco was attentive, professional, and dedicated to ensuring my satisfaction with their products and services.

  I am so happy with my new Impact Windows and impact door, they are very professional , very detail and on time. Allan He went above and beyond to make sure my impact windows were successfully installed. He was very good with communication and gave the best customer service. think you Allan and thank you Alco to make my house more beautiful.
