Huge variety of quality apples. Common varieties sold via standard measures (peck, bushel, etc), and rare heirloom varieties sold by the pound. All apple varieties are available to try by the slice before buying. They have a small retail area with local jams, honey, etc, but apples are clearly the main event. The cider is a must try. They blend apple varieties in the cider for a fantastic tasting cider.

Staff were very helpful! I bought a bushel of apples in bulk and then selected a few of the old heritage variety apples by the pound. Great quality!

This place is a rip-off!!! They don't sell apples by the peck or bushel, like most orchards, they charge by the pound. The result is that their apples are grossly overpriced and on the day we were there, they only had 2nds that were blemished. No apples out on display in the store, so you need to ask to see what they have. The donut case was empty and covered w/crumbs, and a gallon of cider was $8!!! You can buy quality, all natural, made-in-michigan cider at most markets for $5. Go elsewhere, as this place just doesn't cut it.

Nice history of the old barns and how they were built. The owners were awesome. You can also try the apples before you buy them which is great!

Beautiful historic orchard, I'm surprised by how few people know of it. I visited on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't too busy at all.

Small retail area but the apples are the best quality apples in the area. The workers handle apples gently to avoid bruises. Alber has dozens of varieties and they let you taste before buying. Yum! Their cider is fantastic.
