  Very rude gate agents for first class passengers. Didn't board right away, coming from Alaska Lounge. First class boarding line was closed while group B was boarding. Passengers let us jump the line. Male at gate told me that everyone would get on board, No rush. Agent taking boarding passes said that we should have boarded with our group. Told flight attendant about our experience; his response, the gate agent was quite rude. So much for paying for first class. Not the Alaska Airlines that it used to be just a few years ago

  All the Alaska Airline staff were very polite, quick but not overly so. They even refused a tip for luggage multiple times. The Lounge was very nice, different styles of seating from private, leather couches, high top seats, to regular sitting tables. Decent spread of very fresh baked good, pastries, snack bars, eggs, I heard someone say pancakes somewhere, plus juices, soda and alcohol. Very clean, good signage, attentive staff. First time impressions are very high.

  Great customer service, seamless process, on-time, very good first experience. The only thing missing was a meal for our 6-hour flight (we only got 2 snacks and 2 drinks). But, next time we know to either bring a meal on the flight or order a meal with our ticket. That's a small price to pay for such great service!

  Alaska is now part of the Oneworld Alliance, partnered with American Airlines, so I flew from JFK—SEA on a Friday morning 737-900 using miles in comparative LUXURY. Compared, of course, to the grim and ever-shrinking internment of AA's long-haul coach class. The pleasant lighting, cushy seats, big windows, fast free WiFi, adjustable headrests, roomy restroom, and outlets at every single seat (!!) were all a little shocking to someone used to the "screw you!" style of American's main cabin. Even the APP is amazing, giving you easy and affordable options for changing your flight and upgrading your seat. Outrageously great experience, can't recommend it enough.

  Always friendly staff, flight attendants, & pilots! Surprise upgrades from economy class. Got to experience 1st class! Mimosas prior to flight take off 😋😝😝 Hot meals with cute penguin salt/pepper shaker! Greek yogurt with granola bits was delicious but would have loved more! 🙃 Internet is top notch! Watched Netflix the entire flight! Got a surprised free inflight internet coupon so it was FREE! 😅 Inflight unlimited snacks were like “OMG! They’re pampering me!” Salad for lunch is too healthy. Should have asked for Chicken & Mashed Potatoes! 🤦🏻‍♂️
  
  JFK lounge was nice pre-pandemic. Lots of charging stations. Starbucks coffee & tea.
