Horrible experience with Alaska Airlines. Multiple cancelled flights to Seattle from Missoula. You ruined Christmas for my wife and her family and they haven’t seen each in 2.5 years due to the covid restrictions. We were trying to get to Palm Springs, CA and were unable to All because you prematurely cancel flights instead of delaying them to see if the weather clears. I can tell you for a fact!! The weather did clear before flight time so the flight would have been good to go. If you cancel an early flight. Move it to later that day when the weather clears and all the people from the early flight get that rescheduled later one. It’s not rocket science. If I could give zero stars I would. I am a long time alaska customer and thought alaska was a top notch airline but not anymore. Thanks a lot Alaska for ruining Christmas for not only my wife but all the other people on the cancelled flights, because you prematurely canceled them instead of delaying them. Would also like to add that United, delta, and American didn’t cancel As much as Alaska did. The other airlines had almost no issues going in and out. They did delay some for the weather to clear.

I always try to fly Alaska! No airline is perfect, but I always receive great service at the ticket counter, when I've had to call and in the air! They still care about the customer and it shows! Thank you Alaska Airlines!

Please accept my apology for the experience you had surrounding the loss of your luggage.

Because we emphasize exceptional customer service in every aspect of your travel and understand the impact that a lost bag can have on our customers, we will typically compensate a customer following their submission of a baggage claim Statement of Loss. Understandably, we take some effort to verify the authenticity of these claims. We use the information provided by our customers when considering a claim, which must also be consistent with our standard insurance policy. That said, we sometimes require further investigation into some of the claims our customers file with us.

After careful consideration and further investigation into your claim, we must respectfully deny any compensation as we were not able to verify the validity of your receipts that were sent. However, we intend to keep a record of your claim and, should your luggage come into our possession at any time, rest assured we will be in immediate contact with you to arrange its prompt return.

While I would like to provide additional assistance in this matter, I am afraid that I am unable to assist you further. We value your patronage and our hope is that you will allow us to demonstrate the high level of service we are known for and welcome you onboard an Alaska Airlines flight in the future.

    Sincerely,

    Devina
    Central Baggage Service

This time the air hostesses turned my flight to a nightmare. It’s 07/22/2022 I’m in flight 770 Seattle-Tampa seat 34F which is the last row. I’m trying to take a nap since I’ve not slept for 16 hours but the hostesses are talking and laughing too loud behind me and partying. For a second I thought I’m in a crowded bar. I hoped they stop at least for 5 minutes so I can rest but, they didn’t happen. Alaska needs to refresh these expired heads or train new people to host the passengers. TBM I didn’t tell them anything because they turn to defense mood.

@AlaskaAir . Had horrible experience with Alaska airlines this morning. Traveling to Kelowna, Canada from DTW via Seattle. First of all, when we checked in online, it asked to pay for check in bag online which we did. Because my husband is USA permanent resident, online check in system indicated to verify passport and PR card at the airport (which is understandable). When we arrived at the airport, it took check in people 40 mins to process us. They told us that we did something wrong online, but clearly the person who was checking us in did not what she was doing. Finally, she verified my husband info but then as I asked for my boarding pass, the customer service lady started yelling at me. She was saying that I never told her I was traveling too, even though our itinerary was together. Then she gave us wrong boarding pass. We had to exit TSA line to go back to Alaska counter. We were almost going to miss our flight. No should experience this kind of service, it's hard especially when you are traveling with an infant.
