The staff were more interested in getting me out the door than accuracy or problems I might encounter later. They printed something differently on my license than it appears on other federal and state documents. They kept coming up with different reasons for why it was that way (it didn't fit on the ID, it's correct in the computer, etc), and then having me prove them wrong (longer things fit on the ID, it doesn't match the state's systems when I looked it up on my phone). I felt like they just wanted to tell me anything to make me go away, uncaring for the repercussions of incorrect information on my license.

Huge problem here. Was purchasing a car with a transfer of tag. They put my tag from another vehicle of mine as the registration. The lady had not reason to do that as that was not the tag number we gave her and she was not paying attention. I now currently do not have a tag for my vehicle I just purchased. I called them before office hours were over on a Friday and they promised I would get a call TODAY before the weekend. I even called a second time and still promised me a call back. Never called me back and not technically I can not drive my vehicle for the weekend. Not good at all as I have use this new vehicle.

I moved from CA to this town and was surprised by two things: (1) I was shocked by how professional and efficient the people are here, especially compared to the DVMs in other states; (2) I also found it mysterious how come great services like theirs would be rated less than 5 stars. People in Gainesville, you guys have really been spoiled (in a good way of course) :).

I got my FL driver's license here and I had no problem whatsoever. Took the test on the computer the did the actual driving test on a closed course just across the place. Probably took less than a hour total.

Used to nearly enjoy coming to this location. Would drive from any part of florida to come to this location, until today when I had to deal with the fat white supervisor lady who has no idea how the laws work. Won't be coming back.
