Absolutely beautiful inside. Free tours available. Organ while waiting for the performance was very entertaining.

Nice old theater. The pipe organ before the performance was neat as well. Sat in the balcony. Could see most of the performance, just had to look around the people in front of us a few times.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful scenery. Staff is friendly and will help you find your seat. Seats are comfy but not very spacious.

It is a nice place to go see a play or attend a graduation. The artwork on the walls and stage is beautiful. The chairs are suitable, but, I wouldn't want to stay seated too long. The concession stand is the same level of fair as most movie theater. Beautiful scenery, satisfactory auxillary functions

First time going to the Civic Theater, we saw the Nutcracker, we loved it! The theater is absolutely beautiful. I would love to go back in May to see the Little Mermaid.

This place is sweet. Could use a concession stand or 2 but not a bad seat in the house.

Love the architecture of old theaters like this one. It is like hopping into a time machine. The acoustics are amazing and if you appreciate arts & culture you will be pleased.

I used to volunteer there and it's very special and beautiful place full of history. They have a lot of fantastic shows and concerts there, too.

The theater is gorgeous! Needs some plaster work but still stunning. The only problem is as we sat first row in balcony 2, we watched a total of 3 people tumble down the bottom step due to lack of floor lighting. Otherwise, lovely theater.

Good seats. You see from the back row. However they are not slanted enough so can't see if someone sits in from of you. Also long lines for the restroom. Nice looking on the inside. Comfort seats.

This is an awesome, unique venue in downtown Akron with a ton of history. The interior of this place is incredible, and they get some great acts to come through (although not often). This is a great asset for the city, and I hope to see it around for many years to come. If you get a chance, see a concert here. It has a great vibe.

Warrant and Tristar concert! Had a great time. Security was a little rude, but other than that had a great time! Be ready to pay a pretty penny for drinks. $3 pop, $6 for alcohol.

Great theater! Lots of different events at this venue. It's small for theater, but a great feel. The stage is perfect viewed from nearly every angle. No posts to get in your way. Really a lovely old feel place. Highly recommend the venue.

This historic theater is always memorable. I love just looking at all the details on the walls and ceilings before the show. I will note that there are balconies 1-4, but they aren't different levels. It would be more clear if they labeled them balcony sections 1-4, or just sections 20-23.
