  I would not recommend!! They leave trash, nails and wood everywhere when finished and are leaving. I am still fining nails 2 months later! Someone slipped causing roofing to fall on my sleeping toddler and I. I got a concoction but thankfully she was safe. All I received was “I’m sorry, they’re going to fire me. Tell my boss it’s not may fault.” The owner or boss never called to see if we were ok, never offered to pay the hospital bill, never communicated. Only one person spoke English (not really a problem to me) but that person was on the roof in slides with socks! How is that safe?!?! My roof looks great but now I have a ceiling to repair and hazards in the yard I’m still finding.

  My husband and I worked with James on our roof replacement. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We are very pleased with our new roof and would recommend using him for any roofing projects big or small!

  I had a hail claim for shingles and gutters replacement in Olathe. AKC knows what they are doing and are very familiar with insurance process. They sub everything out. I had a great experience with their roofing sub…5 out of 5 stars. I had a horrible experience with their gutter crew…1 out of 5 stars. After multiple comebacks with the gutter crew (2 younger guys) and just lack of professional experience, I was honestly ready to fire them. They eventually got the gutters done, but it was a painful experience. Like I said, AKC knows what they are doing and are very responsive with the homeowner but the finished product is only as good as their subs. Just wish I had a better gutter install experience.

  AKC Pros really is the best roofing company out there. Chris, the owner, and Connor, the VP, are quick to respond and very knowledgeable about what they do. They were flexible, transparent, and really stepped in to see my home claim from start to finish. After a major storm, Connor was quick to get out to my home and tarp over missing shingles, and even helped file my insurance claim, making sure it was done properly the first time around. Both Chris and Connor met the insurance adjuster at my home and advocated on my behalf in order to get the claim approved. Expectations were clearly set so I was never left wondering what to do next or waiting on them. Installation was completed with no issues or delays. I definitely recommend AKC Pros to anyone needing a new roof!

  Chris and his crew were amazing. As a realtor, I run into roof issues on the buying and selling side. It is sometimes difficult to get the roofing contractors to call back agents since we are technically not the client.
  There was a roofing company that had already started a claim on one of my seller clients home. They just disappeared, unfortunately after making the claim. When I called Chris with my issue, he immediately sprung into action. He was proactive and was amazing with my seller client. The roof looks great and the new homeowners will also get a huge discount on their insurance premium due to the shingle Chris Ward recommended (impact resistant.)
