I would give 5 stars if it was urban spice which was previous indian restaurant by same owner. The quality keeps changing with the owner remaining the same but changing restaurant name and courses all the time.

This place has a new blues and jazz section off to the right hand side when you walk in where the bar is located. And they have their own menu where you can order southern favorites like fried fish ( which I ordered and loved!!) And they also have karaoke night. So if you're looking for a great happy hour place to wind down I highly recommend this spot. The man who owns the blues section also runs the separate room they events and private parties. Ask for Jim!! Look them up under " Affairs Blues & Jazz Cafe "

First time eating Indian food today. I found it quite different from anything I've ever eaten in my life. But that's one of the good parts of life, new experiences. My coworkers and I all ordered a platter as suggested by the host. As he could tell we were fish out of water in Indian cuisine. Obviously my pallet was quite unprepared for all the flavors to be had. Several things I found delicious, others almost overpowering my sense of taste and smell. Very authentic Indian food, if you're looking for a new adventure for your taste buds. This is the place to make that experience happen.

While the ambience is very good, the service wasn't at par. The place was not as clean as you would expect an upscale restaurant to be. The food was good, the service was fast however, they forgot to bring a couple of items that we ordered. The portion size is small.

Nice atmosphere and Some of the best Indian food My mom and I have experienced!!!!! Not sure why such low ratings (guess some ppl will always have a complaint) but our experience with this restaurant was impressive. They were hosting a baby shower with over 120 ppl and still managed to make us feel like we were special guest.
My hubby does not like Indian food because of past bad experiences but I'm sure he will enjoy this place. So happy it's close to my house as I'm sure I'll be a regular.response / report this review -

We enjoyed a superb lunch at Affairs with a friend Sunday. Service was excellent and the staff was chatting. I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetarian dinner and tea. Affairs is off my beaten path but I will head their way again very soon.

Recently we had our daughter's engagement party, Atmosphere, service, and food were fantastic! Staff was so friendly and accommodating : )) Special thanks to Rayhan and Laxmi to make our event perfect! Highly recommend this place. We will definitely use Affairs for our future events.

Tasty food but with limited quantity. You pay more to eat less. Tapas with Indian menu, I don't think it's a great combination.
