Always a pleasure. Had cheese fondue which was a special. I really enjoyed the potatoes and apples to dip.
The ambiance is casual but interesting with tons of ski photos.
A Park City treasure. Excellent food. Cozy atmosphere.
First off, I never write reviews for restaurants. But my experience was so terrible here that I felt the need to tell the world (or at least the few people that will read this).
My family and I (6 of us) waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our food served to us. We counted the time. By the time the food came out, I wasn’t even hungry. My wife ordered the filet and asked for it to be cooked medium, and it came out looking and tasting like a leather shoe. My nephew ordered the rack of lamb, and it had absolutely no taste. I ordered the salmon. The salmon was so dry it was difficult to eat, and the sauce they put on top was awful.
My review seems harsh, but I am not exaggerating anything. We did not want to be rude, but we told the waitress that my wife’s filet was way too over-cooked, and they took it back and offered to cook her a new one. That was very nice of them, but we were in a hurry and asked if they could just make the ravioli and put it in a to-go box. That would have made our experience a little more pleasant, except they had the audacity to charge us for the ravioli! I don’t know, I just felt like they should have not charged us for the steak or the ravioli. At the end of the meal, we just wanted to leave. But of course, we had to wait 10 minutes just to receive our check.
I apologize for the long review, but that’s my experience with this establishment. I will never go back, even if they paid me to do it.
Fabulous food! My favorite restaurant in Park City. Adolph is a great chef and wonderful host. Always a nice dining experience and friendly atmosphere!
The food was presented beautifully, and the service was great, but for the price, it didn't meet our expectations
The Salmon was some -what dry. The dressing was terrible.
Excellent food, very friendly staffs. Will definitely visit again.
Classic menu with items like roast duck, veal dishes, escargot, swiss onion soup, etc. Every thing we tried was wonderfully prepared. Service was excellent. Nice room, open kitchen view. Plenty of parking. Wine list not huge but good selection and good number of reasonable priced bottles which was great. Entree prices run from about $25 to $45. Overall a very nice evening.
Food is excellent, flavorful, and different. Service was good. Got plenty of refills of the very yummy bread.
Good locals spot on Tuesday nights at the bar with Mary, the bartender who has been there for about 26 years. She has lots of character! :-) Good food, good company and our place to go on Tuesdays.
If you're looking for a memorable meal with excellent service, this place is worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.
food is very good, service is very good. A little pricey.
Be careful when paying the bill. Our waitress (which apparently told us that she was a local math teacher and taught algebra) tacked on another automatic 2% for her service as a tip after the mandatory 18%, after calculating the tax - not before. Had to point out the embarrassing 'oversight' to Adolph - the owner.
This is a common trick which surprisingly many upscale restaurants use and then pretend that they didn't know. You never calculate the tip after adding the tax, always calculate before because you are tipping for the service not the government. And you don't tax the tip either - just the foods and beverages.
This was a great place to eat. The food and service were excellent. We ate dinner mid week and the place was packed and noisy but it was a good noisy where family and friends could go to enjoy dinner. The raclette was super good.
Meh. My wife was excited because they had fondue. The place was packed--so it's certainly a popular place. That might explain why the service was a bit slow. If you've got young kids, you might want to skip this place--there's no children's menu. If you (or your kids) are familiar with German/Austrian cuisine, then you might enjoy this more. The salad was good, but fondue had way too much alcohol in it, we had to send it back. When it came back it was much better, but nothing spectacular (but then again it is fondue).
