I went to a service here and enjoyed it very much. The negative reviews are about another temple and this is an error. I liked the way the Rabbi encouraged everyone to participate. If this shul were closer I would join it.

** ALL OF THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT AN ANTI-ISRAEL CONCERT IS ABOUT A DIFFERENT ADAT SHALOM IN MICHIGAN. WE ARE THE ADAT SHALOM IN LOS ANGELES. WE ARE NOT AFFILIATED. PLEASE TAKE DOWN THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. THEY DO NOT APPLY. THANK YOU.

I'm extremely shocked and disappointed that this Jewish organization is allowing an anti-Zionist, anti-Israel, and anti-IDF perform within the temple. Shame on you. As a Jewish supporter here in America, this is devastating to see. Extremely heartbreaking and disturbing. Please consider the cancelation of this disgrace.

Shame on you Adam Shalom synagogue Management for inviting Noa to preform.
Achinoam -Noa is anti Israeli who prefer to dig her head in the sand and believe in Disrespecting the people of Israel who mourned the 24000 soldiers Who died so the Jewish people of the world will have a place to live with out fear.
The only reason you can be Jews with out fear is Israel - the country that give you the ability to have your head high .
    Think again about your decision.
Noa provoked most of the people in Israel with her rude behaviour morning the killers of the soldiers and the children, mothers Fathers of thousands who died.

Very elightening. makes a person really take a look at there own faults and realize what they should be doing and why there not doing it. Been studying Judaism for a week now Jewish people seem pretty happy .I hope some of it rubs off on me ..jus gotta find a rabbai crazy enough to help me with the history of the religion .who knows maybe i don't have what it takes, but something is drawing me to this faith that's always been there for me and is giving me a scence of purpose in life other than the norm..idk it can't hurt I guess

If you are looking for a diverse and interesting conservative congregation with a respect for tradition in our contemporary culture then Adat Shalom is your kind of place. Our community has excellent schools for kids from ECC through Hebrew High along with a rich palette of family activities and programs. Please come and join Rabbi Berk for a wonderful shabbat experience every Saturday. We are a congregation where we know and care for one another.

I found this gem when I moved to LA about 3 years ago. It was the end of the summer, my 2 year old needed a preschool and I wanted a synogouge/community close to my house. We found Adat Shalom - now our home away from home.

I immediately fell in love with the school and the community. The moms I met were down to earth, warm, welcoming. I loved that the community was energetic and big enough to feel diverse, yet small enough that I could get involved and feel like I was making a difference.

Now my 5 year old (getting ready to enter kindergarten and the Adat Shalom Religious School in the fall) and 2 year old attend the ECC. My 5 year old is reading small words and my girls love going to school. My one year old will be starting as soon as he is old enough. We love the community and are excited about the new Rabbi and all that is yet to come. It is a wonderful place full of heart and soul.

Both my kids attended the preschool and got an excellent education and a warm, family environment in which to grow. The synagogue is a friendly community of down to earth people without a lot of pretension or materialism.

The congregation is growing again and has excellent religious school as well as ECC and spiritual programming. Services are traditional, relaxing, and musical, as well.

    Check it out.

This is a wonderful place for a child to grow and learn. My child thrived in the close family like setting and received a great education.
The teachers are qualified and provide individule instruction so each child can reach and exceed his/her potential.
