  We've been on a long road trip coming from Michigan and when we got to Jackson we noticed a transmission leak. Gave these guys a call and stopped in Tuesday afternoon. They were straight to the point, no bull, upfront and honest. Dave gave us some simple advice for stopping the leak until they could service us on Thursday. Came back Thursday morning for an oil change and they briefly checked on the trans leak, said it looked fine for now, and sent us on our way. Straightforward prices and service was quick. Able Auto was refreshing to do business with after dealing with sketchy shops who just want an extra buck.

  Dave is a great guy and he really cares about his employees and his customers. Has one of the lower labor rates in Jackson too. Drop off appointments work the best since he is always super busy.

  Able Auto took care of my sisters Subaru and got her back on the road. She had an overheating issue on her ride from Sheridan to Jackson. The local Subaru dealer wanted $2,700 to "fix the issue." Honest Able found a loose radiator hose and put in a new thermostat. My sister got back on the road to Sheridan with no issues! Thanks Able!

  Honest mechanic here, had transmission issues but also inquired about a bad wheel bearing that I was told about after getting an alignment done the year before. The shop that did the alignment wanted to fix it right away but I noticed no noise, figured a year later, maybe I should have it checked. Able Auto told me there was no such issue, could've took me for that cost but did not. They fixed my transmission properly and sent me back on the road. Unbelievable right, a mechanic that takes a customers self diagnoses and says, nope, nothing wrong.

  Great folks who went out of their way to get us back on the road. I wish they were in Maryland so we could use them for all our cars. Veteran owned and operated, too!!!

  We had a "service engine soon" light appear on our trip. Stopped at a few places to see about a diagnosiswere referred to Able Auto. Really helpful, even though they were obviously busy. Checked out our code and reset the computer in about 5 minutes!
