Wow! Ambiance, service and food was stellar. The Chef adapted to my preferences and delivered a very memorable experience. Every course was fantastic. Overall it was a very warm and inviting atmosphere and not a bit pretentious.

Beautiful location, and food was tastey, but portions were SO small for the price. Halibut came with TWO pieces of tortellini and maybe 4 angel-hair sized pieces of asparagus. Left very hungry Veranda fireside lounge is the much better option at this location.

We were there this evening for our wedding anniversary. Crista was our server and she was so professional and very pleasant. Hope to come back some day. We were visiting as part of a Marine Corps Aviator's reunion from the 1963 Squadron. Definitely 5 stars for service!

The food was excellent, I had the Cobb Salad. The service excellent! As I was with my 90 year old friend I was going to walk around the path to the Veranda, in order that she didn't have to deal with steps. They immediately got a golf cart out and drove us there. Again, as I paid the check, they called for the golf cart to take us back to the valet, and my car was there pulling up for me as we arrived. Couldn't have better service than that.

First time dining at Avant and the service was top notch! Booked this for my husbands birthday dinner and they did not disappoint! From the wonderful cheese platter to the special desert it was a class act all the way! Our waiter Tom was fantastic and so polite and professional! I highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner or a great happy hour!

We went for my husband's birthday and the experience was disappointing. Service was slow, as opposed to well paced. They may have realized it was slow because we were given a complementary cheese board. Our server just kind of phoned it in. At one point he was oddly testie with one of our party. Food was very good untill the complementary BD desert chosen by the server. We were given a Maliabi Milk Pudding that was just down right unpleasant. Yes I know it was complementary, but just warning, not good. It is such a great room with a hip vibe, would try again but just happy hour on the patio.

I do recommend for drinks and appetizers. Libation to get- El Jefe Caliente. Highly recommended. Fried Brussels Sprout, Ahi crudo. But the must get is the crispy calamari! Absolutely delicious! Luckily, I've had good service here..so far.

The AVANT at the Rancho Bernardo Inn is one of my favorite places to go for special occasions. Lovely atmosphere on the golf course. Impeccable service and a nice menu. A little spendy, but considering where it's located, the prices are appropriate.

Happy Hour drinks and appetizers were good. The place has a great setting with a good atmosphere. If you don't make reservations you will have a hard time getting a seat inside. However, we sat in the over flow seating outside on the patio. The service was good.
