Service is good and fast and the auditoriums are always relatively clean. Ticket prices are low but concessions are still expensive

AMC Classic Columbus 12 is clean and affordable! It would have been lovely to have trademark AMC power recliner seats when you go watch REAL 3D movie. Well this is just a advice to the AMC Classic Columbus 20 management, I wish they might consider. :)

AMC Columbus 12 is hands down my favorite movie theatre! The staff is simply superb and every time I walk through the doors they are ready to sell me my ticket with a great big smile! I have never had a negative experience here.
They have changed so now customers have to get their own drinks, and it's an amazing system. Now we can pick through hundreds of coke products and their food menu is only expanding with quantity and quality as time goes by.
People also always seem to complain about wait times, but they really are not bad. The staff is constantly working as fast as they can to get people their movie tickets and concessions items. They have always made it their best to get everyone where they need to be in a timely manner. Also, since I usually buy tickets online, the employees understand and print my tickets out with no wait in line.
And last, but not least, this place IS SO CLEAN. I cannot believe how well maintained this theatre is. Every time I go here, it is clear to see the staff is always trying to improve the theatre and making improvements all the time. The staff is constantly looking out for guests and ensuring that their stay is the best it can be.
And the pricing is also very good. The tickets are extremely cheap ($4.49 for adults before 4:00 p.m. and $6.49 for adults after 4:00 p.m. with kids being $4.49 all day) and the food is also very good. I constantly hear people complain that food prices are very high, but it's a movie theatre, this is what there is to expect. The prices are great for what they are and the taste to me is very good. Once again, I cannot compliment the staff enough as they are skilled and very well trained to get every order in place.
It all truly is, AMC Amazing!

The matinee prices great. We have been going there for years, this time thoughThe theater was extremely dirty, the restrooms were a mess, this was at 3:25 p.m. The drinks are $5.96 each and the fountain was broken so we got mostly syrup. I am saddened that the theater has gotten this bad. We use to ho here to avoid the nasty theater in Seymour.

This is my favorite movie theater in the area. It is in great condition, and well maintained, not run down or anything. Every theater room is nice - even the smaller ones. Great matinee prices as well!

The price of a ticket here is good, but the staff here is consistently terrible. Not very friendly or helpful. On one occasion a pro Hector went out for 30 minutes and when the audience asked to be compensated the manager just laughed.

Every time I see a movie here, the facility operates with incredible inefficiency. No matter if it is a busy or slow night, if you want to get an overpriced soda and popcorn before the movie starts You had better arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled start time, to be safe.

So, after waiting to get your ticket, then waiting again to have said ticket ripped in half by the time let verifier person, you wait another 10+ minutes to get through the food/drink lines. FUN FACT: If you pay $15/yr you can become a stubs member and get free upgrades and discounted movies, as well as other things. If you than 2 movies a year, it's worth it. But also included is: getting to go to the express line. Which pays for itself since the wait times are so horrid for people who aren't stubs members.

However, even with the upgraded advantage, you still wait, and wait.. For the inefficient staff to fumble through extremely easy tasks. They don't even have to make your drive k for you anymore

Now there are two freestyle coke machines and two slushee type machines at each end, for the guest to pour their own drinks. You'd think that having the guests diy this, would make the previous wait time better, NOPE.

Here is where your frustration teeters on the edge of boiling over. They have the lids for both machines (freestyle coke and slushee) between the two machines. In a space that is maybe 30" wide. Two people can MAYBE squeeze in there, but hardly ever. The lids are set so far back that even me, at 6'7" with long arms, finds it difficult to reach over someone to grab a lid and straw without seeming rude and impatient.

Suggestion: put more counter space to the left and right of this machine for people to set their drinks down, and get their lids on A smooth counter top where guests can slide their drinks down to get out of the way of the people behind them. Have atleast one designated lid and straw space for each machine, so that there are 4! Have the lids first, THEN the straws. Continuing with the "slide your drink down" assembly line suggestion, this would make it much more efficient.

Because think about it, you don't just have people filling their drinks that were just purchased, you have refills. And that's the most frustrating.. You don't want to miss much of your movie.. But you are guaranteed to be waiting for 2-5 mins of you get behind grandma/grandpa getting 4 drinks for grandkids that are screaming bloody murder, in efforts to once again tip the scales of your teetering impatient temperature, towards its boiling point.

Summarizing, the overall experience is frustrating, due to the incredible and consistent inefficiencies. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait. But, once you get into the theater, it's usually kept Clean, and the staff, albeit inefficient up to this point, are quite friendly, and accommodating. They try. Most likely the foretold inefficiencies, are due to management. Be it local or corporate management.

Update - this AMC has removed all premiere lines making us pay for a perk we can't benefit from. It is unfair! I don't want to wait in the common line.

Only 1 person selling tickets for Sunday matinee movies, lines out the door people waiting to buy tickets for movies that they are obviously going to miss the start of because of poor management! I had purchased tickets online and had them downloaded to my phone so regardless whether it was allowed or not, I refuse to stand in the ticket line. I walked by the ticket takers podium and scanned the Barcode on my phone.
