Nice theater. The seats are decent, comfortable for a two hour movie. The employees have always been friendly when I've gone.
The Place had a horrible smell I tried moving to a different section but the smell still lingered. So I decided I would turn on the flash light on my phone and ALL THE SEATS WERE MILDEWED so disgusting 🤢 I'll never return here! It's sad because this was my favorite theater
I really enjoyed this location, when it was a Rave Theater.
It was a drop off in quality, when the theater joined the Carmike franchise.
Since becoming a part of AMC, I only visited this location twice. In my recent visit, the cashier had difficulty applying my new AMC Stubs membership.
Great for handicapped even a family restroom centrally located.
I have been a long standing Patron. The new amc premier club ruined this theatre for me. During a busy hour I could see it being fine, there was no one there and I walked up to the counter only to get turned away for premier members who had just walked up a min later. It was honestly really rude. I'm not going back.
We enjoy movies every now and again. This is by far better than Premiere down the road, however, there is always an issue with the butter spout when I go. And the floor is always sticky.
This used to be Carmike, and was a Rave before that. Now it's owned by AMCAnd AMC is owned by Wanda Group, a Chinese company. China now has a big hold on theaters in America, which means they can influence what movies get distributed and what doesn't across broad audiences.
With that out of the way, I have seen probably 50+ movies here over the last five years, since Carmike, and now AMC, took over. The big change I've noticed since AMC has aquired Carmike has been slightly different concessions.
From the perspective of a movie buff, the previous biggest fault of this theater was the digital projectors never seemed adjusted properlyGood news, that seems to be improved now! They seem to be either new projectors, or finally adjusted. The audio here at AMC is also good, way better than Premier.
From the perspective of average Joe, overall this place is great for final showings of the night when crowds are low. This is when we like to come. It can be terrible if you go primetime with obnoxiously loud people and lots of kids, but that is out of the movie theater's control. The concessions still leave something to be desired (popcorn is now better than it used to be under Carmike), although AMC has Coke Freestyle. Bathroom cleanliness is hit or miss. Staff always seems friendly; I believe they may have got new staff since AMC takeover.
The family likes this theatre better than the one in Malbis. Despite being an older cinema, it is still a great cinema. It looks and feels like a new venue.
Pleasantly need more discounts for seniors and accommodates. Employees very friendly.
Always clean and the employees are always so friendly. Last night, however, they went above and beyond. I purchased 2 tickets for The Shack via Fandango and used a gift card that I had received for Christmas. When I arrived at the theater, I realized I had left home without my phone. I had no way of proving that I had bought tickets (because I had used a gift card and not a credit card). I was resigned to buying 2 more tickets when the manager on duty told the attendant to let me in. Such an act of kindness is rare and something I won't forget! Thank you!
Fun atmosphere
