The equipment is hand-me-down, really used. Not maintained properly. However, the facility offers a lot, and the price is excellent.
You know it all sound nice on paper . The Dude giving us the tour was very nice, things went down hill when we stayed to have the real experience but when we learned you needed to take your own towels because it cost 5 bucks, well that's stupid. My toddler and I ended up getting the the cold and flu! We are in the winter time you could of told us that if we wanted to use the pool to make sure we brought out Towel!
This is a nice place where there are people playing volleyball, basketball, futsal, workout, etc. This is a pretty good place but there are many better.
DON'T COME HERE, I had a summer pass here and had brought a few friends with me and every time we have gone up the basketball gym is full of camps to where you can't even use them. Then we go to the pool and it was full of kids doing swim lessons. Poor way to run a gym, I paid good money for this and it's all for nothing.
This is my favorite gym in Kansas City. I left once due to a move, and missed it so much that I came back. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It can get busy, but it's never so packed that you can't find parking or use a machine. The indoor track is great for winter workouts and I never feel that my workout is limited - 68's has all of the equipment you could ever need. Great value and great customer service.
I really respect Will for the way he answered this. A great deal of my complaints have been addressed.
This is a great, family oriented gym with a walking track, three basketball courts, a daycare, a swimming pool, sauna, a jacuzzi, and many more amenities. I like it because the atmosphere is completely different from the new age meat markets like Gold's Gym. I have been a member (off and on) since 2007.
If you're looking for a family membership this gym is the way to go as I bring my daughter all the time with me.
