So we went during the first snow in the Fall/Winter of this year & also during SantaConhmmmit was interesting; not going to knock anyone. It was cold & it took us some time to find an igloo on the rooftop which when we did happened to be busted so we continued to freeze. Ordered their Bailey's hot chocolate which was a hit amongst us & it helped to warm us up! The burger was also pretty goodafter eating we went downstairs in the warmth and danced a lil & I must say that their music selection was on spotI would go bk but in the Summer as it would be more enjoyable then on the rooftopesp to take in the sights

This was the best club/ lounge experience! The food and drinks were great! The line to get in was long but moved very quickly. The scenery on the roof was amazing and had heated igloos which we enjoyed! Lovely place!

Nice view, nice food. Better to go during the week to avoid queues and enjoy the happy hour. It's free access to enjoy the views but Friday and Saturday there's dress code. On the roof top you'll enjoy the empire State building views and the sunset on the NYC sky line.

The rooftop bar here has the most amazing views of the Empire State Building and that is their main selling point. You have to get bottle service to have a table, but with a group the prices actually aren't that crazy
The biggest negative here is that the servers try to have you commit to 20% gratuity BEFORE they serve you anything. Last time we were there we told our server that we'd like to wait until the end to tip. She stopped waiting on us right then and there and only came back to tell us that we had to leave when we were done with our bottle. We informed the management and they did a great job of taking care of us from there. It was just an unfortunate situation to have to deal with when you're spending hundreds of dollars to be there.

Went on a Thursday and it was busy but there were plenty of seats available with incredible views. Drinks were reasonably priced given the venue and we really enjoyed the burger and the vegetarian noodles (again very well priced). Went downstairs to leave and noticed another bar again with amazing views and had to stop for another drink. Liked that it was self serve at the bar.

What a wonderful view! We went there in April and were lucky enough to get a nice cosy place to sit - right next to the Empire State Building. The service was really attentive and the cocktails delicious. We also ordered Nachos - great! We had a perfect evening/night and it wasn't that expensive for NYC - it was worth it!! Thank you. I will come back again!

This place has spectacular views with a very relaxed atmosphere. You will not have the same experience as going to a night club but it is equal in its own way. The prices for happy hour are also really good considering that most rooftop bars don't even have happy hour.

I've always been the one crazy about rooftop bars, as it's just a relaxed feeling to drink and look at the views in this beautiful city. 230 fifth, did not disappoint! they have a huge space and several good views of the city. they have a separate smoking section, which is thoughtful!
They have decently priced drinks, which came as a surprise. the highlight for me was the fleece robes, in case anyone feels cold. i would recommend giving this place a try during a nice weather day

One of my most favorite places ever because of the view!!! 4 stars because drinks are not the best here, they are just ok. And to be honest, there is no atmosphere here at all. But the crowd is very interesting for they are from all over the world (there are many tourists here). Also you cannot name this place a fancy one but you will definitely enjoy it if you like rooftops! In summer it gets pretty crowded but I could always find a place to sit. They have warm red robes for cold times and heaters above the tables and benches so it actually gets very warm even in the Fall. If someone is visiting New York and you are showing them around this place is must see!

This rooftop bar is wonderful. Yes it's going to be busy, it's a rooftop in NYC, but it is so nice and fun. Don't be afraid to sit at a large round table that has only two people sitting at it, there plenty of room! My girlfriend and I met 5 amazing people because we offered them to sit with us because they couldn't find any empty tables. Great drinks with a nice atmosphere. Definitely visit!

Nice atmosphere and fun place. Drinks are pricey but it is NYC. Love that they supply robes and heat lamps for the roof area on the cooler nights. The hedging and umbrellas around the rooftop bar block the views of the city which kind of defeats the rooftop setting. The inside bar has nice views and great atmosphere. The music was fun and energetic. Great dance music and it had a fun vibe. To get any good seating inside you must have bottle service which is quiet expensive of course. Otherwise you have to stand, and with the tables there is limited space or go to the other room with seating but you can barely hear the music. I do like that you have the option for quiet seating to chat or an area to dance so you don't have to bar hop for a change of pace.

We did reservations early with bottle service to guarantee a table. Very glad we did. It was PACKED!! we had no wait time since we had reservations and the service was amazing!!! Our waitress was awesome. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. I would definitely come back here. The view was nice the dance floor was packed. Good for all ages. Also. Great the icecream brownie sundae it was our favorite!!

At first I thought it was a dive. So I went straight to the rooftop. The bar provides some warm robes for the clientele. I had a hot chocolate, it was delicious with Baileys. It was delicious and surprising. By midnight I went back to the dance floor that was packed. The DJ was excellent, he mixed all kinds of music and rhythms. Latino, pop, Brazilian, a little bit of everything. The music was so good that it was hard to leave.

The view alone was AMAZING! We did not have to wait long for a table, they even accommodate us when we later added 8 more people mid way through our dining. It can be a bit tight spaced in certain areas but it was very trendy. A wide range of people from families, tourists, young & old groups. After an issue with one of our meals, the management came over to apologize. As he did, a gust of wind knocked over one of the drinks and he offered us a free round along with the replacement of the first dish he had originally come to apologize for. I will definitely be coming back - the food was great as well!

Very busy roof top bar. Get there early on a sunny day to grab the best tables. Opens at 4pm. Decent food. Amazing view of the Empire State Building. Service was efficient but not friendly.
