The hostel is on a good location close to taksim and metro station. Also havatas busses that are connecting to the airport stop closeby, 10 minutes walking distance. The hostel rooms are nice and clean, toilets can be better maintaned. There is a cool rooftop bar in the hostel where you can eat your breakfast and other meals later in the day, or just to get a drink.
However, the service is not the best one here - i stayed twice in the hostel, the first time i paid less through booking and the second time the employee at the front desk charged me more, with explanation that i have paid service charge on booking the first time and at the end the price would be the same, which is not true! Also, even though on booking there are deals without breakfast to stay here, the employee told my friend who was leaving in 4 am that you must pay for breakfast and no deals without breakfast are available! And also in the room i was all lockers were out of service so i had to leave my luggage in the locker room on another floor which was very unconvinient.
great location, could be best option for hostel if you want to save money on your travel.
Clean and nice. I wish it had a kitchen in 6th floor instead of bar. That bar made the common area useless and now its mostly like a hotel than hostel.
Comfy, clean and modern hostel. Kinda quiet (no crazy hostel vibe) but the best value for money I've ever had.
A modern hostel with stunning rooftop view! Some facilities need maintenance.
Pleasant staff and cosy beds, unfortunately not well preserved(cleanliness)
Really bad experience. The staff were hassling me to pay for a booking that was already paid for, they even Facebook stalked me when I left the hostel because they could not find the receipts of payment. The room itself had broken air conditioning in the summer, so it was unbearable to sleep or even stay in for more than 5 minutes. In my room, one of the employees would stay in there too, it was uncomfortable as they also worked in the bar where I went to eat. The room I booked was also not what I booked for, and the guy at the reception decided to down grade the room as he thought that the rate quoted was not enough for the room (which was not my fault, I would of paid more if that was the case). Very bad first experience, especially when travelling alone, they just added unnecessary stress on arrival.
I checked in and was assigned a 4 person room-when I got to the room is stunk like cigarette smoke. Two of the beds & lockers were clearly occupied, and the other two beds & lockers were empty with dirty sheets. I went downstairs and told them about the mix up and they reassigned me to a new room. I put my stuff down on a clean bed and locked up my stuff in the locker designated for that bed. I got back to my room at 8:30 and someone's stuff was on my bed. All of the beds were occupied at this point. I went down to reception and explained what had happened but they lady didn't seem to understand, and wanted to reassign me to another room. At this point--I was done with this place and demanded my money back and went elsewhere that night. Getting a refund required a few phone calls with some language barriers.
I would not recommend this place even though it is so cheap. Not worth the unknown of having a dirty bed or someone taking your bed. The location was a little shady.
Pros: Close to Taksim Square, large lockers in the rooms with key pad, and rooftop deck.
I stayed at this location in a 6 person female room a couple of years ago, and although pictures indicate it is largely unchanged, please keep this in mind.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had our own bathroom and there were extra bathrooms in the hallway with showers that we used if ours was in use and they were empty. There was laundry, WiFi, a beautiful terrace bar and dining area and nice bunk beds with storage. There was a laundromat and an elevator. One caveat: If you have large feet I recommend the elevator over the spiral stone stairs; I fell down a flight of those in the morning (sober, no luggage, etc) and was lucky I wasn't hurt. The whole hotel is beautiful and a ten minute walk to Taksim Square, faster if you're in a hurry. I would definitely book there again.
New and very clean, internet did not work, good breakfast but 10 lir more. The shower was low pressure but clean. Nice bed. Good staff
Stylish, modern, clean hostel with staff dedicated to support guests best sleep. You are not allowed to be loud at night (which I found sympatric!). It is a 12min walk to Taksim Square and another 7min walk to the night clubs which are in midst of the shopping area.
Only the breakfast wasn't really good. Actually they have a great rooftop, but you could only get some fatty with bread and sticky Choco Pops in a small room next to the front desk Other than that it was great! :-)
Convenient location, cheap, great roof top bar with breakfast for 5 euros. Helpful staff, and overall one of the best hostels I've stayed at.
fantastic English speaking helpful staff. even took us out clubbing. cool planned events that you can meet people from all over the world
