The Rüstem Pasha Islamic cultural center was designed by Ottoman imperial architect Mimar Sinan for the grand vizier Rüstem Pasha. He died at age 61 in July 1561 and the mosque was built after his death from around 1563

It was made for Rustem pasha which is located closer to spice market and new mosque. And it has the best tiles; better than Blue Mosque

CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS UNTIL 2019. Check out the Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque instead for incredible tile work.

Located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is a 16th Century ottoman Mosque. Very beautiful from the inside as well as the outside.
