I tried Le Meridien Istanbul Etiler for the first time and generally had a good stay; despite not being perfect I will probably come back. In my opinion this hotel is the best fit for people who like having a great view including a balcony. The bathroom was also nice including a TV above the bathtub and a large tinted window separating the bathroom from the bedroom, from which we could get a glimpse of the view. My suite upgrade as Ambassador Elite guest was not the most spacious however: the junior suite I received would possibly not be called a suite at other hotels, it was just a slightly larger room than standard rooms.
Breakfast 7-11am was offered in the main restaurant and was relatively standard for Turkish hotels in this price range. Happy hour 6-8pm was also in the main restaurant – the lounge was being occupied long-term by a large group. I liked happy hour more than breakfast and they had a choice of 5-6 hot dishes so the lounge offerings were above average compared to other hotels in the city and enough to make it a meal. One negative is that cocktails were not included in happy hour – it was spirits, wine, and beer only.
Overall LM is a decent hotel which has its place in Marriott’s large portfolio in Istanbul and I can recommend it.
Worst hotel experience ever. It is dirty and the furnitures are run down. Even door handles are rusty. I will be complaining about them to every board. I asked my room to be cleaned, some guy came he cleaned only one spot and left. They tell you that its not their fault the marks wont go away. Whereas the problrm is their mindset. I am pretty sure they are just 2 star hotel but they bribe the auditors
Best location and best view with so kind of people and customer service 👍 Hotel bar is on the top 🔝 34 floor with the best view!
Great hotel. Very friendly service. Clean and spacious rooms with wonderful views over the bosporus or the city. Best hotel in Istanbul!!!
Very upmarket
Gym maybe small for some
Indoor and outside swimming pools . good massage
Very clean and spacious
Close to the FSM bridge on the European side
Excellent hotel. Clean, modern, great service, good location, spectacular views. I ll definitely go back.
Exceptional experience. Nice rooms, extraordinary breakfast and helpful staff. Although the public transport connections are not available but the hotel can call a taxi for you within minutes.
It is close to university, so there are some nice cafes and restaurants at a walking distance from the hotel.
The sauna and pool facilities are also good.
I truly enjoyed my stay. Room view was breathtaking. The staff were amazing. The room service was quick and efficient. The restaurant at the hotel was very good with great staff and comfortable environment. The food quality was fabulous. I would definitely book again for my next visit to Istanbul.
New clean spacious hotel. Staff very kind and welcoming. Very good breakfast buffet. Restaurant menu can be better in term of choices. It s always a pleasure coming back here
What a Breakfast!..
Already reviewed my Home away from Home. I’ve felt like writing separately about the fantastic breakfast buffet at Le Meridien Etiler.
You are welcomed with all smiles and positivity of Bayram, who successfully manages the restaurant joined by Catalina, Barış and the friendly staff. The new setting is great!..You have corners to choose what you like and one really needs to think very hard to look for something which is not there. Ohyou should try Nazife’s spicy omelette:)
Thanks everyone and see you againsoon!..
Le Meridien is a nice hotel with good location of Etiler. There are not much hotels around and it benefits from it. So its price is very high comparing to any other hotel with same class and quality in Istanbul. Personal are very friendly but I could not see any personal with very clean outfit. All outfits are messy if you look careful. General hotel Interior design is very nice and fresh. Rooms are also nice and somehow modern but i can not say a five start clean rooms. Also every time i stay, i find something broken in the room and i need to call for service. If you are on a business trip and thinking to get an exclusive lounge access, its somewhat reasonable. Their lounge has nice city view and but only local Turkish drinks are available. No fancy brands that you used to. Breakfast menu is very nice. Not complicated but you have everything you need. Food quality and selection are very good. I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and in 2 different rooms. I had same experience every time. If the price would be 25% less than it definitely wins for 4 star.
Amazing hospitality I am Jain and eat only Jain food. Chef Abdul make sure that all of the guest get the food of there choice. It was hard to find anything Jain except fruits and con flex’s but during May stay he hosted me like I am at home. He offered me variety of food in Jain like boiled/ stir fried vegetables. Soups and salad.
Keep it up
Excellent location. Good service.
Average views. Reasonably priced.
Overall a good property.
Catering is perfect. However, if you want to have business meeting and/or a conference in its meeting rooms it becomes so hard to find a staff when necessary. You get have to chase people so you can get some support. The assistance is very poor if you are a meeting/conference guest.
Lovely hotel. Roof top bar was a little empty but has great views of the city.
My favourite place to stay in Istanbul - attentive service, fantastic rooms and a wonderful view of the Bosphorus from the rooftop bar.
Staying at Le Meridien Hotel was a real treat. I have attending events here as well, which were fantastic. Inside the hotel it is beautiful. The staff is very nice too and helpful. The view of the city and Bosphorus are a huge bonus too. at the 34th floor there is a bar with a patio wrapping around the entire floor. The cocktails are really unique. Though some may need a spike. Two times I stayed here and got upgraded.
Just next to the Fatih Sultan Bridge, a modern Le Meridien Hotel with an amazing design(both rooms and shared areas).
Very nice Le Meridien, great hotel to stay. Good value for money.
The best SPG hotel in Istanbul after St Regis amazing service, amazing view from the top floors. Good cocktail bar at the top. Special thanks goes to Melike who is responsible from Executive lounge, she is simply amazing in terms of hospitality
Nice hotel but too impersonal for me :-( Nice and large rooms and great view from the rooftop bar !
We came here as guests from Germany and will check-out tomorrow.
The hotel is very modern and stylish. I just really dont like the "art" ( heykeller, kaftan, kelebekli bebek resmi ) which seems very low quality.
The roof top is amazing!!!
The rooms are comfortable and generous.
The hotel stuff is very friendly and quick.
Thank you for a nice new year eve.
Pray for the people who died in Reina 2 days before :(((
