Great location if you're visiting the Asian side of Istanbul. Comfortable, large, well appointed rooms. Good food in the hotel restaurant and several alternative restaurants within walking distance if you fancy a change

The Marriott istanbul Asia it is perfect and so big & comfortable rooms clean and very calm area around the staff very friendly and so cooperative the breakfast was very different variety of international dishes and so tasty 😋 and delicious 😋 really i am enjoying and i am recommended this hotel for every one visit istanbul but remember this hotel not in crowded istanbul area far away but good for relax and escape from the istanbul traffic enjoy 😉

Comfortable hotel, pleasant staff. There swimming pools, fitness center, spa, bar and restaurant. Breakfast has many options. And food is really tasty at the restaurant. Be aware that it's at Asian part, so 1-2 hours away from Atatürk airport.

In general, very pleasant stay.
Rooms - very clean, new and well equipped. Coffee, tea and water free of charge. Toilet and shower/tub very clean, nice smelling towels.
Surroundings - restaurants, metro and shopping mall in the walking distance.
Breakfast - wide range of foods, option to have a "custom-made omelettes" etc.
Pools - looked nice, but I did not have time to use them.
Connection - app. 40 min by taxi from Sabiha Gokcen airport.
Only cons - very noisy environment, even thick glass cannot isolate honking of the car drivers even during a night. But it´s not a hotel´s fault, just a feature of a 20 million city traffic. So, pick up some earplugs to sleep wellresponse / report this review -

Living in Istanbul and having a flat there we decided to choose this hotel for a short relaxation time. Three swimming pools, two open and one close, attracted me and my kids of 9 years old. Coming to the hotel, we were upset. The kids were not allowed to the big open swimming pool on the first day of our staying. The pool administration explained that it's dangerous for the kids under 10 years old to swim there. Although the depth is 145 cm. My kids are very good swimmers and going in for swimming for three years already. We had to go to the small open pool. It is on the ground floor, water is quite cold cause the pool is in the shadow almost all the time. The depth of it is 140 cm. It's very small and to swim there is impossible: very many adults with the kids are just sitting in the water and there is no possibility to swim as it is. On the second day I wanted to swim myself in the big open pool, expecting the kids will be waiting for me on shore. But the administration asking how they old were let the kids to swim as well. Everything was excellent for two hours. The kids were happy so was i. But two hours later a lady from administration came up to us and demanded to leave the pool as my kids were under ten. I wanted to explain that they swim quite well but she said in a quite strict manner that the swimming capability is not a reason. The reason is that this pool is just for adults!!!!!!! Adults are considered to be people from 10 years old. I was shocked. It sounded like discrimination. We couldn't stay in the hotel any more: the mood was spoiled. The kids were shocked. I had a conversation with the hotel administration but except formal excuses we didn't hear anything. They didn't even suggest us the way is solving the issue.
Moreover, this is Turkey, Istanbul! Yesterday we came to the close pool. There is a Jacuzzi bath over there. So, nobody could used it yesterday, 25.07.17, for an hour. Cause a couple, a guy and a girl, were sitting in the Jacuzzi and kissing almost all the time. Nobody told them a word, just closed the eyes. Is it a norm? Is it a rule? Nice place. Good service. If you like quite rooms, avoid the side of hotel that overlooks the fruit market and Carrefour - there's a traffic jam even at night, too loud. Breakfasts are a little expensive and a little too simple for the money they charge. Breakfasts are not included in the price of the room.

Very good quality hotel with lots of facilities such as Spa, indoor & outdoor pool, massage, fitness center etc. I recommend to stay in Executive Suite, huge room of 75 sq meters with a big jacuzzi, nice view of the city at night, and access to Executive Lounge for food & drinks etc.

Great hotel and outstanding staff:
This is one of the best Marriott properties that I have stayed in, very nice interior design, rooms are lovely, clean and silent, you do feel the tranquility and the relaxed environment… you feel it from the moment you walk into the hotel, it is up to date and well maintained hotel.
It Is the place to relax after a long day in Istanbul (either for work or sightseeing), you would need a place to really unwind and relax. specially, with the amazing service and view from the 22nd floor lounge, or on the swimming pool.
Most important, an excellent staff, professional, helpful, and very knowledgeable, it is really exceeded my expectation, truly enjoyed my ~ 2 months stay in this hotel!

Holy cow! It's just a dream. Being in this luxury hotel is one of the greatest thing I've ever done. Even doors give you the feeling of luxury. Staff are lovely and kind. The dinner I had here was unforgettable.
