I booked the fairy chimney room (room 304) and it is the second best room I've ever stayed in around the world (to give you a comparison, the best one was an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora).
As soon as I walked in the door of my room, I was speechless at how unique the room is, it's not your usual hotel room that's for sure. It's a very authentic room carved out from a fairy chimney, which you can find everywhere around Cappadocia. There are pigeon holes in the walls, and even an underground storage space to keep the authenticity of the room. The design of the room was very well thought out - the wardrobe cupboard has been built into the wall, there is a little seating area where you can view out the window into the Göreme landscape of more fairy chimneys (from your very own fairy chimney :)) - this was my safe haven. The lighting in the room was placed appropriately to show off the features of the room. You also have your own private balcony (with more views of the landscape). The bathrooms were also nicely decorated with a nice shower head and even Cappadocia-printed slippers. The room was also very tidy and clean. I visited in November which happened to be unusually colder than it's meant to be; when I arrived it was warm and cosy which added to the entire first impression of the room!
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I made a very last minute booking for an airport pick-up (on the day I'm meant to arrive) but Avni dealt with it very promptly which was a huge relief. Breakfast at the hotel was also very enjoyable - make sure you ask for the Turkish pancakes (gozleme) as it's very yummy. I enjoyed sitting outside on one of the porches (when it's not too cold) and taking in the breathtaking views whilst having my breakfast. Harman Cave Hotel also has a rooftop seating area which gives you a 360-degree panoramic view of the area.
The hotel staff will also help you with the booking of your tours and at a reasonable price. The location of the hotel was only a 3-minute downhill walk into the centre of the town which was convenient, although during the snowy weather, make sure you pack appropriate shoes as the roads can be very slippery (especially downhill).

This is a great place to stay in the heart of Cappadocia. Nice views of the chimney rocks. Well appointed with large courtyard seating. Good breakfast.

Wonderful experience!
