This establishment has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Hotel staff is very friendly. Apart from great rooms, the best thing about this hotel is its location. Just a few minutes walk from Blue Mosque. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served on the rooftop which provides an amazing view of Istanbul.

Well located, not too far from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace yet not at too crowded a place. Many restaurants and shops around.

Location wise this was a great base if your a tourist as most historical sites are within walking distance.

The rooms need updating. Comfy beds. We were on the lower ground floor which meant we had a larger balcony than the other rooms on the higher floors. But the view wasn't great. It was of an old wooden building. That overlooked into our rooms.
The curtains barely covered the window and door. The shower leaked over the tub even with the glass partition. The tub didn't drain well and collected water as you showered. Personal amenities were ok. Shampoo and shower gel weren't great

The breakfast room/rooftop balcony had great views. Although the breakfast it self was basic. Lots of cheeses and meat cuts. And a few cereal choices. Could do with more fruits. Rather than vegetable cuts.

The staff were friendly and always helpful. Although when we checked in, we were told we arrived at the wrong ferman hotel. (Could've been language barrier) maybe they didn't know how to pronounce our name.

Overall I would over look all of these for the price and location. As I actually thought it was one of the better hotels on that street. Being so close to all the historical sites. You won't be spending much time in the hotel apart from when you're asleep. Breakfast wise I wouldn't worry as you'd be glad for a light breakfast with all the food on offer outside.

I just spent two nights here, and found the location and service to be excellent. Convenient walking (though uphill) to major attractions, a diverse breakfast selection, and a friendly and helpful staff were among the many reasons I will stay at this hotel again. The airport shuttle (50€ round trip) was very reliable, even at 3am.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights . It was a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. We were not happy with the first room allocated and they switched it for us. We would definitely return. Thank you for making our visit to Turkey so pleasant.

Had a great stay in this hotel. Hotel was in a great location in Sultanahmet area and a short stroll to Blue Mosque and all the local attractions. The hotel compact and cosy and the rooms very comfortable. Loved the views and the breakfast from the roof top each morning and loved the complimentary turkish delight in the foyer. Definately would come back.

Best view in the region, great rooms, amazing breakfast and staff.

I visited Istanbul with family and we were staying at the Ferman hotel. We had the most amazing time here. The staff: Umut (concierge), Umut and Yaqoob (staff), Fatema (chef), house keeping staff and the rest were absolutely amazing. And the manager Cavas Celenk who kept the hotel in top shape.

This hotel has the best view in the entire old city Sultanahmet region. It's 5 mins walking to the Blue Mosque. It has an amazing view of the entire area from roof. Very nice beds, a brilliant and delicious breakfast, and the best dining and full glass and open air dining and Cafe area. You can not possibly find a better hotel with a better view or access in this region.
