Not your place if you expect everything to be crisp & new. You will fall in love, though, if you are a romantic and a sucker for true vintage. A lot of things have not changed in this hotel for a very long time and whether that's a good thing depends on your perspective.

Amazing historical hotel with untouched soul. Architecture and the essence of the past makes this hotel a must see and have a drink at its lobby at least. Please don't forget to read about it's amazing history.

I've never stayed in the hotel but I like coming here with friends to have a drink and watch the sunset over the Golden Horn. Qwerky, historical and for a hotel bar it's reasonably priced. Can get busy around sunset in peak season so get there a bit early with your sunglasses. Take a couple of minutes to explore the area on the ground floor, there's some interesting things to look at.

Never stayed in it, just been up to the terrace to have drinks and enjoy the view. Drinks are pretty cheap and the staff are nice. The whole place has a certain charm from a bygone era - Orient Express Istanbul!

Orient Express old years hotel, the last one in Istanbul, it's a 3 stars but cleaned and with kind personnel. please ask for front view rooms, they are the best and with refurbishes bathroom and with balcony with beautiful view on the Golden Horn.
