It s perfect place to make an outdoor day while escaping from the chaotic atmosphere of the city.
Very nice places to have a breakfast also barbecue.
Very crowded during the weekend and if you just go out there for jogging prefer early hours.
The biggest minus point is when its weekend sometimes you even can not find a parking lot for your car.

In the Turkish city of Istanbul, the forests of Belgrade are considered to be one of the largest and most important natural areas in the city, covering an area of 5300 hectares, a protected area and a large park.

Forests are 20 km from the city center and are meant for people to do recreational activities and enjoy the spectacular views of the different species of plants.

A very good place to be inside nature.
If you are living in Istanbul then it's a good place to get stress out of yourself.
    Don't eat breakfast at home.
Get out and have fun at this place.
    Feel like yourself

The best place to spend a day in Istanbul. You can go by car, if so, you must pay tole for enterance. Or you can go and rent bike and enjoy looking around. We went there by bus and rent bike and it was our best experience in Istanbul

Forest is nice. But it's the dirtiest forest I've seen in my life. I still feel bad after walking day. Because I saw a 100 times how turks throw garbage, even in town, even if the bin is next to them. I like turks, Turkey and I like Istanbul. And this I really don't understand. Maybe it's shoud be control by the law.

The star is for the beautiful nature, people really ruined this place with the smoke of barbecuingI kept sneezing all the time because of the smoke. I could barley see the forest. If you have asthma STAY AWAY!

Nice place to visit if you want to get away from the city's hassle n bustle. A few routes for hiking and cycling. A lot of picknick areas. Even saw 1 tent across the lake, but not aware of the details of camping there. 2 lakes/dams. Quite a lot of rubbish around though, particularly on the paths and by the lakes. Which really ruins the atmosphere.
There's a place just down the road before the gate that rents bicycles and does tours on cycles and ATVs.

A place to breathe in Istanbul, which gradually loses its green spaces. Suitable for family gatherings and plans with friends. Especially if you have kids, you should watch them carefully. Because the forest is enormous and a young kid may lose his/her way. Yet, keep in mind that the officers of the forest regularly patrol the whole area by their motocycles for these kinds of situations as well.

Go only with guided tours, otherwise there is a tendency to get lost in the forest and and and if you are going without a rain cover then DO NOT GO
