  Best hamam experience I've ever had. They'll do a real number on your body but you'll come out fresher than ever. A must visit Everytime I'm in Istanbul

  This is the experience you're looking for - a traditional, local, non-touristy haman, run by turks for turks. This place is 1/3 of the price of the more touristy baths in this area of Istanbul and seems 100% more authentic.
  Don't be put off by the basic website in Turkish, and don't let the flashier touristy sites turn your head. If you want a large, virtually naked, Turkish man to wash, scrub, push, pull, pummel, stretch, crack and scrape you all over with a rough mitt for a few Lira or you just want to sit in the sauna and steam areas in peace, this is the place. (but I recommend the full treatment!)
  Female section comes recommended too.

  It was like a religious experience, I swear. A true tonic for the weary traveler!! This place was half the price of the Hamam my hostel tried to steer me into (55 lira for full service, vs 100). I was there for a full two hours and came out a different man than the one that went in. For those of you second-guessing a Turkish Bath (Hamam), please, JUST GO. I've never been so clean in my life. Never! Best sauna I've ever been in, and I've been in many. The staff had limited English, and I speak less than ten words of Turkish, but neither mattered. I was the only tourist in there, it was a fantastic way to see how the local men pass a Tuesday night. Just can't say enough about this place!!
  
  Ps; get a refreshment and hang out for a bit afterwards, you won't regret it. And tip your masseuse!!!! He provides you personalized care through the entire experience! I tipped 30 and saw a local give 20, but he probably didn't get the full service like I did. If I wasn't a broke college student I would have given more!

  Traditional local Hamam and in a historical building built by the world famous Mimar Sinan! Very good value for money!

  Went there on a Monday afternoon. It was quite slow, but that was good so I had time to enjoy well the processes. It's 50 TL including bath and scrubbing. The masseur asked for tip and that was ok but he aimed for 50 and I gave him 40. Plus 5 for the guys who takes your shoes and 5 for the guy who brought me the towel and Mineral water (1tl) So I know I paid to much but I like to be generous anyway. The massage was great and the he guided me trough the process. I enjoyed very much. It was worth it.

  Nice traditional Turkish hamam!
  Enjoyed it very much!
  Hidden from tourists and acceptable cost vs service!!!
  Massage was great and professional.
  Tips for massage, towel and shoe guy is necessary)))
  My wife was doing the same next door and when she finished ladies called men room and informed.
  
  Get there and rest. 2 hours included. Looker rooms are safe since 1533 (!)
