Generally it's alright, but there is one unpleasant thing. While eating at Shockoladnitsa we had a chance to meet a "silent extruder" (a roach). That was really an unexpected visitor, though. And no apologies were offered, neither was a discount or any other polite excuse. FYI, don't use jerky taxi services right at the exit. They boost prices 2 times more than usual especial for foreigners. I would advise to use taxi apps like uber or etc. But be ready to use google translator.

Important tip: taxi only by phone or from special desk before exit arrival hall. Private drivers in the hall (even with badges) will take as minimum as triple price (even with counter). You can also use bus 39 - stop is near exit from arrival hall, tickets onboard Generally this is airport without special features, neither good no bad, just little point in your life

We arrived evening of 8 October. We are now here again, have a mid afternoon flight on 11 October. Everything has gone well on both occasions. Excellent service from everyone. 😀

The worst airport ever been to! The arrogance of personnel strikes a lot especially if taking into consideration the context of 'cultural capital of Russia'. The toilets are gross - it stinks as if they never clean it! No soap even at baby rooms! Thanks God loads of paper on the floor majorly!!! And no means of personal care (if you know what I mean) are sold nowhere inside! N O W H E R E!

There was a time when the airport had some troubles with identifiying its Terminals (eg Pulkovo-1, Pulkovo-2, Pulkovo Terminal-1 etc), but now it's somewhat OK! The public transport infrastructure is just amazing.

Excellent facilities in the newly constructed terminal building where international and domestic flights are in one place. However, in my opinion, as a person living in St Petersburg I think police needs to do their job more efficiently because at times there are dubious people offering taxi fares at often highly inflated prices. But it's getting better as years are passing. Keep up the good work guys!

Near average. But strange, gang-looking people near exits offering you "taxi-taxi" makes it bad. Never seen anything like this even in african and other poor countries airports. Police should catch them, but they don't work. Be awared.
