you can get very small room without window for same price as in regular hotels. center city placement is only plus

I just spent a week in Moscow and stayed at this hotel. Very friendly staff, always willing to help with whatever concerns or problems we had. The breakfast is delicious and very tasty: it has got a whole variety of foods, such as cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, typical Russian breads, vegetables and juices. Rooms are daily cleaned (if requested by the person) and provided with clean towels. I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone who wants to stay close to the Red Square, i.e. in Downtown Moscow, and does not want to spend a lot of money or is on a tight budget.

Be careful if you choose this hotel, most of the rooms are without a window and the pictures in the web are from their "best room". The room smelt of tobacco even when they claimed that it was not allowed to smoke.
3 out of 4 walls were touching the bed. The breakfast is not included. The location is great though.
It is a very old building with a lack of maintenance and only looks so so because they put some make up on it.

The was really small, old and not clean. Because of no window, the air in the room was also bad. Breakfast was bad also. Only good thing is the location of the hotel.

I was expecting better for a 3-star hotel. But I guess, it was the economic room that I booked. And at such a price in the centre of Moscow then it is okay. It also includes free breakfast.

Location fantastic, Room not so much. Breakfast was disgusting. Cleaners must if been smoking in the room because it stunk after been cleaned.

Breakfast was very poor. Rooms had no curtains or anything to cover from daylight. Windnows were on the ceiling that was super high so we could not open/close 'em. Besides it was so warm in the room that we had to sleep with the fan on the whole night. Bed was not comfortable either. Internet did not work in the rooms, and very bad in the reception.
The crew was great. Helpful the whole time and very friendly for being Russian, they offered as a fan (needed it) and to change the room because of daylight and noise.

Too much noise at night from the bar on the first floor. Great location but hard to sleep. Do not get the room without window. Poor air circulation. Impossible to sleep
