Well maintained, very clean tidy , thank god I dont have to do the gardening! The gardens are beatifully maintained and are obviously greatly loved.

Wonderful place friendly hosts and the very best view on the Peninsula!! I cant imagine that anyone staying here could regret it.

Far more pets inable than your typically motel and to refer to La Casa in such a way is an injustice to the owner's and their fantastic property. I just wish we had a few days rather than an overnite stop.

I can not genuinely find anything to be critical of it was a very enjoyable stay. Thank You.

We recently spent an evening at La Casa with Christine and Drew. The view from their home was magnificent. Their home was quite welcoming and our accommodations were terrific. Their home shares lots of Maori tradition. They have done a great job of making the surroundings and home wonderful while keeping a clear association with the past. Drew and Christine couldn't have been more gracious host and hostess

We recently held our wedding at La Casa. A special thank-you to Drew and Christine , who gave us a very memorable afternoon. We were able to provide our own alcohol, Christine made our pre dinner platters also a beautiful two course meal. We also stayed the night in there beautiful rooms with a fantastic out look over the Firth of Thames.Very affordable rates.We had a choice of where we could hold the ceremony depending on the weather. The lodge is a lovely place to stay. Chris and Drew your hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The lodge is set in the most tranquil setting high on the hill above Te Puru with bush all around and the most incredible view of the ocean. You are only two minutes walk to the ocean and shop. You wake in the morning after having slept in a very comfortable and clean room feeling totally rested. Congrats guys really enjoyed my stay.
