While walking past helloworld I happened to glance at a brochure advertising holiday packages all of which looked very tempting and as I was beginning to plan a trip away overseas thought I'd go in and see what they could offer me. After discussing several of the packages at length, I found a number of discrepancies between what was advertised and what the sales person was telling me. Example; a hotel in one of the packages I was looking at offered a free breakfast if you booked 40 days prior to travelling. When I asked the agent if breakfast was included she said definitely not and that none of the hotels offered that. After about 20 minutes another staff member brought it to the attention of the salesperson tending to me that in fact the brochure was actually out of date. The agent made it quite clear she could no longer assist me. What a waste of my time. Perhaps one day they will realise there is a big difference between a Travel agent and a booking agent. I won't be back.
