Lovely staff. Good range of food although packaging is not eco friendly. Have the dumplings and make sure you get the not so spicy sauce

On a warm day it's a great place to sit outside and enjoy sushi and dumplings. I have a soft spot for crispy chicken and wasn't disappointed. And then there was the miso - possibly the best I've ever tasted.

The dumplings! So good. Fantastic service too, so friendly and helpful. The sushi is fresh and they'll do dumplings in many ways to suit.

After an intensive survey, I have deduced Zen has the best dumplings and dumpling sauce in Christchurch. They are consistently delectable. The miso is wonderful, and it's not usually something I enjoy. The sushi is inventive and carefully crafted.

Tasty sushi and miso soup. Friendly staff. Often busy. Shared outdoor seating. Parking tricky. Great if at art centre, art gallery or museum.

The chicken dumplings are tasty and have high quality ingredients! The owner is in for a nice chat and the place looked very clean. Would definitely come back when I'm around again.

The best sushi and dumplings in the city. We found this place while the buskers were on and loved it so much we have considered ourselves regulars.
The owner Richmond is very friendly and welcoming and treated us like friends rather than customers.
