Great place. The decor is on point and the staff are just amazingly friendly. The food was delicious but pricey (well worth it). The cocktails were a bit disappointing but that's not why u would go there. Just fabulous.

I had the Pad Thai and Cashew with rice at lunch time. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant in Riccarton, if you want to try Thai food. But, the atmosphere was not my type. Because, It was bit cold inside and had no music. And, I think the staff need to let customers know about the spiciness of the dishes. It is a good place in terms of price and food quality.

I came to this restaurant because it's closest to the hotel I was staying at. Was pleasantly surprised by its wonderfully friendly & helpful staff and beautiful food. Every piece of my Mixed Appetizer was perfectly cooked and so delicious; the ThaiChef Fruit punch was very refreshing. And my main dish-Pad Thai Yellow Noodles..omg! It's the best Pad Thai I've ever had! I was going to get C U Later Noodles initially but the staff recommended the Pad That Yellow Noodles and I was so glad I listened!! Highly recommend. 5 stars for sure!!

Went to this restaurant last night with a group. Cant speak highly enough of it.The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though there were about 30 of us, we were all served at much the same time. Heated plates were bought out . The food was piping hot and extremely tasty. The servings were generous, and I bought some of my meal home.

I went to the Thai Chef for a family reunion dinner. There were 17 of us. When we arrived the waitress came out and asked my brother for his credit card as she was worried we were going to do a runner. He said we would all pay at the end of the meal. We all waited to be served and in the end had to go and get our own drinks from the bar as no one came out to take our orders. Finally someone came and took the order for our meals. Some got an entree but not all. The entrees should have been served and the main meals should have then been getting cooked for those of us that didn't have an entree. By the time they had cooked them the people having an entree would have been ready for their mains. During this time there were smaller groups of people coming in after us and they seemed to get their meals quite quickly. However we waited 2 hours for ours to arrive. My brother went and asked what was going on several times. At the end of our meal which was pretty average we had to pay a 10% surcharge as it was on a holiday period. We felt that with the long wait and lack of service this should have been waived but as it wasn't I decided to write my review as I think people should be aware of the lack of service/poor service. We will not be going here again. 🙁
