Words can't express how beautiful this hidden gem is not far away from christchurch city.

The walk is beautiful and not too hard.

Walking stick are also provided as part of a $10 donation to keep this wonderful gem maintained, stunning views a round.

Simply stunning from start to finish. We love to challenge our boys with outdoor experiences and this was one they thoroughly loved considering their ages of 5 and 10. So many hidden gems along the way kept the kids engaged the whole time. Lovely to not be overcrowded with tourists so you can still take in the untouched natural beauty that it is - thanks for letting us experience it x

Hidden gem not far from christchurch! Owners charge $10 for entry on their private land which is reasonable. So lucky you own something this amazing! Reasonable walking loop about 2 hours, even has a BBQ area! Always tell friends how they need to go here!!!!

Really nice place, for a good walk. There is a charge of $10 per person though, cash only, but it's worthy. Allow 2 hours for the loop walk.

Nice private property walk. Well informed and posted along the way. Can be hard to find the road in and the start without someone there giving me some quick info. But yeah beautiful spot with a good bit of history. Worth trying on a day out of Christchurch!

Great walk tucked away in the foothills, allow 2hrs or so for photos etc. Good views of the Plains up top. Private so $10 per head fee to maintain trail, well worth it to me. Has cool waterfall, old farm hydropower scheme, small lake with rowboat, gorge with shear cliffs and cathedral like cave. Amazingly diverse for the distance covered!
