Nice place for a walk, but the mountain biking is poor, boring, overgrown in parts and covered in sheep poooop.

One of the best regional parks in Auckland region. Sea front in many places allow for beach and sea access. Great views from the hill tops as well. Under an hour's drive from the city.

This is my most favourite Regional Park, just check the views, and the water is just right for a nice cool dip on a hot summers day, or anytime really. Just Awesome all round, with lots to do and see, check the website for details. Cheers.😊

Scenery is breath-taking overlooking some great islands. Picnic ground for the family or a dip in the crystal clear water..

Spectacular views. Great on a sunny day, or for watching a storm roll in from the comfort of your car.

Beautiful scenery, excellent parking, good access BUT motorhomes have to park at the top of the steep hill and walk down about 1.5k to the beach (and then back up obviously). Not much fun on a hot day when all we wanted was a relaxing swim. Not impressed especially as there didn't appear to be a problem and no explanation was given.
