Really nice site, structured well and unique with information along the route. Tales from one to two hours, depending on how long you want to walk around.

We had a terrific walk. This is a quintessential Kiwi type experience. None to flash, a bit risky in some places if one is not paying attention but this walk up a river valley through native bush on the beautifully constructed well posted pathways, with many informative signs is a grand adventure exciting the senses, imagination and spirit. Thanks so much folks for an unforgettable and lovely afternoon. Please don't change a thing.

One of the cheaper experiences we had on a North Island holiday and one of the best by far. What an incredible experience!!

Amazing and unique place discovered by Felix and Rita who have worked very hard so people can go on walks to see the famous basalt boulders. We had the pleasure of meeting couple on our visit who were very friendly and welcoming! Great characters. Well worth the visit and the $15! Would love to visit again some day. Thanks to both of you, the English couple from today 😊
