Wonderful historic village. Beautiful walking tracks. Has little areas for a bbq, can swim, fish and has a cafe by the stone house. Beautiful views, ducks and chickens to welcome you for memorable visit. Can bring dogs but not on walking tracks. Worth a visit when up north🙂👍

Oldest stone building in New Zealand.
Interesting history and maintaining a vintage look.
Store is very well preserved and filled with retro stuff.
Helpful staff who are dressed in period attire.
Overall setup encompasses a church, garden, port, harbour, an old tree and a house
