Good for events
I went to the 2013 Vintage Country Fair and I was quite impressed! There were static and working displays of all sorts of vintage equipment, as well as stalls selling a range of related items. The working sawmill run by a some hard working volunteers and driven by a steam traction engine was a highlight.
It was at the Vintage Country Fair that I made contact with the New Zealand Vintage Machinery Club. The club secretary introduced me to some of the committee members, including Gary Frazer who kindly gave me a guided tour of the nearby club site. The range of machinery that I saw cemented my desire to join the club and become involved.
