Great coffee and the best cheese scones
I went there today with my family member, staff seemed to rush us when it wasnt even peak times or near closing time! As I was looking at the cabinet the young girl at the counter simply glared at me like I was being rude.Ordered two muffins, a pot of tea and a cola. Muffins were uneatable, tasted like baking soda and burnt my mouth! I ordered my muffin warm, it was cold. I didn't say much. I simply asked for a pot of HOT tea, it was half full and warm. I go there often and its okay but today was an OFF day. Will not be going there very soon
Salad was dripping in mayonnaise and uneatable. Husband had roast veg which were dry and gross. Coffee was average.
This is a great cafe that is attached to The Colombo, but doesn't have the hustle and noise of the Mall; simple menu and great service.
Delicious coffee. Amazing slices served with fresh whipped cream.
Very popular place. Good hot coffee, nice warm fresh muffin, and good service. Can't get better than that.
Delicious scrambled eggs and slightly curried creamy mushrooms. Best breakfast I've had for a while.
A trendy cafe within The Colombo but away from the typical mall noise. Modern branding and layout, with good solid wooden bench tables as well as more typical tables and seating (but as far as I can tell, no child seats). The coffee and food is good and the service friendly enough, but on the occasion I visited my re-heated chicken pie was forgotten and (I'm guessing) left out in the cold for a while before being served to me. This was while it was very quiet and the staff members were mostly just chatting to each other. It was only slightly warm, cold in the middle, and pretty dry. Pretty average for $8.50.
Otherwise, the coffee was good and reasonably priced and the rest of the food looks great and I'm sure this was a one-off. It certainly wouldn't stop me from going back again and this remains one of the better cafes in the area.
