  Had trouble with our tyre that was patched a week prior and drove it quite anxiously from Mount Cook to have it looked at. They handled it quickly and professionally, giving us some good, sensible advice that a previous garage did not (but should have). We were very grateful as it enabled us to complete our road trip safely.

  They are AA Contractor and so we came in contact with their service. We had some noise in the motor room, so we decided to call the AA+. Instead of sending us a mechanic they towed us away 45 min later than discussed. Than we had to wait another hour to be told that our alternator is broken and we need a new one for around 600$ with labor.
  We decided not to fix it in twizel cause they really pushed us to make a decision and go further to Dunedin and have a second opinion. There they said us the AC bearing is broken and not the alternator. They saved us more than 300$ and had an excellent service.
  
  By the way, in Twizel they charged us 40$ for a wrong diagnose and didn't send us an receipt after asking two times.
  
  Would not recommend that garage at all!

  We are backpackers, and we left our old station wagon there for oil and filter change : they were very helpful, kind and did an excellent work on our car, and proceeded to a global check for a very fair price.
