  A long drive (or bike if you're keen) to get there, but well worth it for its seclusion. Good fishing off the point if wanted. But otherwise, just a great place to get away from everything

  Lovely peaceful spot. Bit of a drive on narrow unsealed road but worth it for views and spot. Fishing from rocks and beach. Building with toilets, water and cold showers. Friendly hosts. $5.each per night.

  Le "Titirangi Farm Park" vaut le détour ! C'est par un track assez long que l'on peut y accéder.

  camped behind the sand dunes in the camp ground, with many weka for company! a lovely bay, probably the only sandy bay in the sounds, has good access to fishing spots and diving. we collected paua of the rocks and also caught cod, the drive out there is long but scenic and on a clear day Mt Taranaki can be seen from the ridge surrounding the bay
