  Eating at Tin plate kitchen & bar was very unpleasant. The staff who was wearing glasses was very unfriendly but was extremely friendly to the male customers before. I am not sure whether that staff was intending to be racist or not but she should definitely work on her attitude. She forced herself to say "Have a nice day." I asked for water and she said that she would but did not even come near me. So I had to ask another staff.

  Having to wait for an hour for food, we ended up having it taken away and enjoy the pizza with wine infront of our balcony while waiting for sunset. Thin crust pepperoni pizza and salami chorizo ham pizza. Both are tasty.

  Overpriced but no real choice since there's not much else open in this town after 8pm. Beef fillet was cold and had no taste. Honestly the McDonald's burger I had earlier in the day on the long drive here had more flavor. Fettuccine texture was lacking and the chowder was not much better than canned Campbell's soup. 2 stars because it was actually open and our server tried his best.

  Husband and I went here for dinner whilst on our honeymoon roadtrip of NZ. Husbands lamb dish was superb. My pancooked fish with cheese on top was a lil dissapointing as the cheese just overpowered the fish. I cannot recommend highly enough the warm chocolate melt/lava pudding! It was so tasty and rich, it was by far the best I've ever tasted!

  Sat here for several hours and the staff were amazing, went out of their way to find us power for charging our phones and iPad. Food was great, drinks were great. Plenty of menu options. All round great day whilst we waited put a rainy day in Tekapo.

  Lovely and cosy place with a fire place. The food is great, and so is the service staff. We had the octopus starter, a Maso Pizza and the Lamb with gratin. Yummy!!!!👍🏼

  So good. The lamb hotpot and potato gratin was divine. The pork was also excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Just lovely all round.

  Food was nice. Slightly expensive but it's in line with most other restaurants in a touristy area. A bit short of staff as well but that's not too big of a problem
