  Creamy seafood soup with plenty of fish, prawn and green-lipped mussels.. so yummy. Beer battered cod fish with giant size french fries.. a local specialty.

  Hi, We popped in on a busy night, crusaders night! So lots of bookings, but we were given great service a table and ate a fantastic meal of the best venison & steak I've had in a while! This bar has great ambiance! Love the candles & relaxed family atmosphere! Thanks so much wish our speights in Wellington were as good as you Southerners!

  Nice ambience down town Timaru. Beautiful old stone building, with nice sunny outdoor area. Food was excellent, although the new 'fries' are HUGE!

  Speight's Ale House Timaru is one of Timaru's fancier restaurant/pub. If you are looking to go somewhere that has a full restaurant as well as a proper bar, then Speight's is a good choice.
