Brilliant service and food

This seems to be the closest you can get to Chinese food in Timaru - but it has been heavily englishified to fit the local expectations.
It's a only smorgasbord, but reasonable variation of staple food - although nothing too spicey or adventurous. Friendly staff, nice and clean. And interesting decor.
We've been a few times when we have passed through Timaru, and will undoubtedly go a few more.response / report this review -

The restaurant is getting a bit dated now. The buffet is average, but priced well. The service is okay, but a smile wouldn't go astray. It's a good place to take a group of mates.
