  Opening from 730 onwards which is great with two early rising children, kids corner is awesome, coffee was excellent, meals served very quickly & were delicious (Roasted Kumara Mumble Jumble & Potatoe Hash Stack. Kids shared Pancakes). Great location, amazing view. Fantastic breakfast experience.

  A great selection of counter food, dishes to order off the menu, great coffee and a nice view over the lake. Oh and a toy corner and lots of kid friendly foods. A great lunch spot for families.

  Food is okay. We ordered the salmon and fish of the day. The view was good. Just thought the staff could improve by smiling if not they don't appear friendly or welcoming

  Not very attractive outside so a pleasant surprise inside. Fabulous view, nice food in generous helpings, and the friendliest staff.

  The Third Place Cafe is high on the hill, the outside doesn't give any clue to the great views from the cafe windows over the lake. The fruit salad I had for breakfast was fresh and yummy.

  Fiona and her team, are always welcoming, and they make great food too! They have one of the best views in Rotorua out of their windows.

  Friendly service. Loved my breakfast - creamy mushrooms on toast with extra bacon. My companions had the poached egg on ciabatta, the French toast with extra hash browns, the lite breakfast (toast, a poached egg, a sausage, and fresh fruits) with extra avocado - all great. There is also a beautiful view of the bay.

  Environment was lovely. Service was ok. Food was terrible. Food prices are steep for the quality of food. Will never return.

  Great breakfast/brunch spot. If it's too loud for you inside try getting one of the two tables on their outdoor patio. They have a great view.
