  My food (Mrs Piggy burger) was tasty but cold. I was given a free glass of wine to make up for it, so that's OK by me.
  My partners soup of the day was IMHO flavourless. An insipid liquid with some chunks of vege in it.
  The boys Hawaian pizza was good.

  We arrived at 5.15 on a Sunday from the mountain and they were still cleaning the place and continued to clean for another 45 mins. Nevermind, Janola and beer always works. We paid service prices for food but had to order at the bar. Beer pints are marginally bigger than half pints. Open fire was barely smoking rather than roaring to attract people. We've been here loadsa times over more than 10 years and it's slowly deteriorating due to lack of effort and imagination. Sorry, we're no longer able to support. Cheers, Mike Martin ( Lilahs Dad).

  Great bar! Good music, spacious facilities and lovely bouncers. A real asset to Ohakune and the wider central north island.

  Average service, very unhelpful staff.. bar owner is a rude man would never recommend anyone here at all.there has to be better bars in Ohakune then this one..drinking in my hotel room would have been more enjoyable..
