This seaside venue is absolutely stunning and a perfect place for any wedding. With options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, and a beautiful spacious reception area, on location accommodation for your wedding party or the bride and groom the night of the wedding. You can hear the ocean from the bedrooms and it creates the most beautiful calming atmosphere to start your special day with. There are so many options for your wedding photos within walking distance.

This is the perfect place to plan your South Island New Zealand elopement! It has such a romantic seaside atmosphere- with beautifully restored wooden floors and a clean minimalist feel. The garden courtyard area has many native plants, and sleek wooden benches with a chic modern feel with sweet nautical details like paua shells and glass lanterns. As a wedding photographer, I would highly recommend this space. The garden courtyard is perfect for an intimate ceremony with the ocean view just across the road. Each of the indoor rooms feel light and spacious with big picture windows, that would also be another wonderful space for a wedding ceremony. Jade McNab the owner has styled it with the perfect balance of vintage charm and modern minimalism.

The Port Molyneux School is one of the most beautifully designed wedding venues I have experienced and such an amazing addition to the Southland Otago wedding scene. Jade has thought of every little detail whilst planning the old schools transformation and the result is a stunning mix of vintage and modern set against a dramatic seaside backdrop making it my go to venue when planning with clients. Jade has such a great eye for styling and will ensure that any events held at The Port Molyneaux school not only run smoothly but look magazine worthy aswell. Located in kaka point, there are a host of cribs and motels available to accomodate guests, and the beautifully renovated headmasters house is the perfect setting for photos of the bridal party getting ready, making this an ideal destination venue that is still close to all southlands main centres. If I could have my wedding again this would be my dream venue!

As a wedding photographer, I would highly recommend this space since it has the rainy weather option of a large light and airy indoor space with big picture windows and plenty of nice outdoor space for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
