Seriously cool. Really busy just after 10 on a Monday morningbut in a good way. Nice vibe. Delicious food. Creamy mushrooms, one of best ever eaten.

Cosy and trendy place that won't ruin you. Breakfast menu is a gem and they have an extensive selection of confectionery on the counter. Really good coffee. The staff goes put of its way to make sure you are happy to be there. It is busy, but it's easy enough to find a spot to sit if you can be patient for a few minutes. The hollandaise sauce is more an aioli, but still pleasurable.

Very busy, but usually worth the hassle. Good coffee, reasonable food, with a few exceptions - but that seems to depend on the day. The service is chaotic and weak but they seem to be trying. Often lots of families with kids. In off peak a great place to play hipster.

This place is a Dunedin icon. I can't imagine The Perc not being there. A great place to have coffee on a rainy winter day sitting near the fire. Good coffee and yummy food. It could be crowded as it is well patronised.

Went for a late lunch. Seemed like a popular place but found a seat. Struggled to choose from a great menu, had a really good avo on toast. Coffee was lovely too. Totally recommend

Too noisy at times with both the music and the close proximity of other people. Though, this is usually during the middle of the day. The mornings - when I mostly go - is not so noisy, but you are very aware of the limited space between tables.
There are only two usable power points in the whole public area. This is not ideal, especially if you have an older laptop like mine.
